Abel
Origin: Hebrew.
Meaning: Breath, Vapour
Young people today are growing up in a world saturated with comparison. It’s everywhere, in their friendships, their feeds, their classrooms, and even in the quiet moments when no one is watching. Just like the story of Cain and Abel, comparison still has the power to distort identity, fracture relationships, and derail the future of a generation.
The impact is real. Rising loneliness, declining mental health, digital overload, and a constant pressure to measure up are shaping how young people see themselves and their place in the world. Many are overwhelmed, disconnected, and unsure of who they are becoming.
Abel Movement exists to change that story.
We partner with Christian schools, leaders, and educators who want to engage young people in a new and meaningful way, one that speaks to their identity, their purpose, and their God‑given potential.
We’ve created practical, research‑informed, faith‑centred resources that help leaders guide students toward confidence, clarity, and a healthier way of seeing themselves and others.
And we’re already seeing the difference. Students who have journeyed through our content are discovering a stronger sense of identity, deeper connection with their peers, and a renewed belief that they can influence their world for good.
Abel Movement is about raising a generation who know who they are, who they belong to, and who they were created to become, not by comparing themselves to others, but by stepping boldly into the life God has called them to live.
